Here is an autumn dessert made from seasonal fruits and poached in cider that will delight your guests, the fruit soup with cider syrup
Ingredients for 6 people:
- 6 fresh figs
- 4 apples Granny Smith
- 4 pears
- 1 bunch of white and 1 black grapes
- 250 g of mirabelles
- 1 orange
- 100g sugar
- 1l fall cider
- 1 lemon
- 1 stick ofcinnamon
- 1 vanilla pod
Apple cider syrup fruit soup recipe
In a saucepan, prepare the syrup with the cider, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla that you have split beforehand.
Bring to the boil then simmer for 10 minutes. Let cool.
Wash and cut the figs in 2. Peel and cut the apples and pears in quarters, lemon them.
Pit the mirabelles.
De-stem the grapes.
Put the fruit in the saucepan with the syrup and poach them for 10 minutes over low heat. Let cool.
Put in the fridge.
Serve with financiers.
